Steamboat Springs Trip Review

Steamboat Springs is an adorable mountain town located about 3 and half hours from Denver, Colorado. If you are looking for a trip that the whole family will love, this is a great place to go. We went there for the first time with my family this month and absolutely loved it! In this blog, I am going to share our Steamboat Spring trip review and share all of the things we loved about it!

Where to stay

We stayed in an Airbnb at the base of the mountain in an area called Shadow Run. We really enjoyed staying in this area because it was close to the mountain for all of the family members who wanted to ski, ride the gondola or visit the resort. There is a shuttle that runs from the ski resort to downtown that was very convenient for anyone who wanted to ski or venture downtown for some shopping.

Restaurants

There are so many great restaurants in Steamboat Springs. We ended up staying in and spending time with family for a couple meals which was so nice. If you are skiing or checking out the resort, you have to try Timber and Torch. The views were excellent, you could sit and watch all the skiers and enjoy a drink or something to eat. If you are looking for a more casual experience, Old Town Pub, Barley and Sunpies are a few places we tried and really enjoyed.

Shopping

The shopping in Steamboat Springs is something you don’t want to miss! Haus of Cucu makes the coolest custom boots and leather goods. They also have an awesome selection of western inspired clothing and vintage jewelry. Adorn is the cutest shop that features many items that are designed and made in house and also many items that are responsibly sourced. If you are looking for the best Steamboat Springs apparel, you have to check out FM Light & Sons! They have so many great souvenir shirts and a very large selection of boots.

The biggest highlight of the trip for us was spending time with family we hadn’t seen in quite some time. Some of them my husband hadn’t even met before! It was so nice to be able to enjoy some time away from work in a beautiful place! Have you ever been to Steamboat Springs? If so, what are your favorite places to see?

All our love,
