Natural Fiber Clothing- Casual Summer Outfit Ideas

It’s officially summertime and I have been on the hunt for some casual outfit ideas! I am inspired to change up my summer style this year and try more loose-fitting, flowy pieces. Don’t we all want to feel comfortable and stay cool this summer? I have also been learning about the benefits of natural fiber clothing such as cotton and linen instead of plastic such as polyester. Did you know that polyester has actually been used as a male contraceptive? Crazy! Today I am sharing some super cute summer outfit ideas that are made with natural fibers. These outfits are perfect for hot summer days!

Madewell is a great place to shop for natural fiber clothing pieces. Their tees and tanks are very popular for good reason! I love to wear them with denim shorts, flowy midi skirts or even leggings. Their denim shorts are even made with 100% cotton.

Free People has always been one of my favorite brands, so I was very excited when I realized that so many of their pieces are made of 100% cotton! I love this flowy top that is adorable styled with denim shorts and a belt shown in the image. I also love this maxi skirt paired with this v-neck tee. This adorable romper looks like a dress, but it is so comfortable with built in shorts!

You can also filter by material type when you are shopping at certain stores. You can do this at Nordstrom which is my favorite store to shop at. They offer free returns without a return window and sell from so many great brands (including Madewell and Free People!). I have tried using filters when shopping at Amazon but unfortunately the “sponsored” items will still come up even if they don’t meet the filter requirements, so you need to double check the item description.
