Egg Casserole

Sausage egg casserole, simple and delicious
Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 42 minutes
Servings 6 servings

Ingredients  

  • 1 lb hot or mild sausage
  • 1 onion
  • 12 eggs
  • ΒΌ cup half & half or milk
  • 1 package shredded hash browns

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • Grease 9x12 baking dish
  • Brown sausage and onion in skillet (drain if desired)
  • Drain hashbrowns and pat dry
  • Place hashbrowns in bottom of baking dish
  • Add sausage and onion
  • Mix eggs and half & half until completely incorporated
  • Add egg mixture to baking dish
  • Bake uncovered at 350 F for 30 minutes or until cooked through
  • You can also add shredded cheese of choice for the last few minutes of baking just until melted
